From deadstock of the famous designer named in the title, this is a supple and soft wool/viscose blend doubleknit, a medium weight with a substantial yet drapey character. The color is a dusky plum but slightly different on each side. The face is a lighter shade with a subtle variegation, and the reverse is a darker shade (PANTONE 18-1706, 18-1405). Both sides have a plain knit stitch and the fabric is completely opaque so there is no need to line it. Not at all dense or heavy with a beautiful, soft drape and about 20% widthwise stretch with good recovery. Perfect for tops, tunics, sweaters, knit dress, comfy and elegant separates, winter skirt, scarf, etc. Dry clean, or please test first. iron on low.
